In the Spotlight: Lost Valley Hat Bar
Lost Valley Hat Bar, Austin’s custom hat bar, has joined the Canopy community in Building 3 #105.
Founded by artist and owner KD Parra, Lost Valley Hat Bar blends personal style, craftsmanship, and a little Texas flair into a highly customizable and quality hat-making experience. Visitors can choose from a wide range of hats and make them their own with bands, vintage and handmade pins, dried florals, hat burning, and other one-of-a-kind details.
The shop also puts an emphasis on supporting independent makers. Lost Valley’s hats are handmade in Mexico, while accessories are sourced from artists and makers across Texas, including handmade ceramic and floral hat pins.
More than a retail shop, Lost Valley is designed to be an experience. Stop in to build a hat, browse the collection, or make an appointment for some one-on-one customization. Walk-ins are also welcome during select open hours at their new Canopy location. Visit during Open Canopy, Canopy’s monthly first Saturday studio tour and explore the community from 1-4 pm, including galleries, retail, and dozens of artist studios.
We’re excited to welcome Lost Valley to the Canopy community and see another locally grown creative business make itself at home at 916 Springdale Road.
